Our new project: « I Share my Knowledge and Have an Active iMPACT on my Community » is dedicated to mothers with an active civic position, who want to explore and bring environmentally sustainable ways of life to their families and their immediate community.

iMPACT derives from one of the 3 main objectives of the European Green Deal: the one about achieving environmental gender equality. United Nations too identify environment as one of the 12 critical areas, where women have an essential role to play in the development of sustainable and ecologically sound consumption and production patterns, and approaches to natural resource management.

We co-organized it with our partner Art Scene-Zagreb from Croatia. Like all our projects, this one is subsidized by the European Union, under the Erasmus+ programme.

We invite mothers – present and future ones – aged 29 to 65, to join us for a 7-day retreat on environmental protection and sustainable living.

It will take place on 17-23 August 2023, in the town of Šibenik, Croatia.

The objective of the iMPACT project is to research and find innovative ways to actively participate in the fight against the environmental crisis. They will learn about environmental protection and sustainable development within the family environment.

In Šibenik, five pre-selected participants from Belgium will meet five participants from Croatia for a week of workshops and debates about the impact of environmental degradation on the life of families and communities. Through the methods of policy analysis, communication, drama and life coaching our participants will deepen their advocacy skills, about climate change. After the retreat, the participants will create together Guidelines for sustainable living for families and active communities.

After the summer retreat, with the help of professional mentors, the mothers participating in the project will create Guidelines for Understanding Environmental Protection and Economic Sustainability.

If you want join, click here to apply! We are looking forward to hearing from you!
